Q: How old were you when you started writing?
A: Seven years old! I wrote a story about pirates stealing gold from my pool in Florida.
Q: Did you always want to be an author?
A: Nope. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut or an opera singer.
Q: What do you like best about writing?
A: I enjoy creating stories, but what I like best is meeting the kids who read my books!
